En medio del casi cinematográfico escándalo del agente “James… Ciro James”, cuyas actividades de espionaje fueron puestas a descubierto recientemente y ha llevado al Jefe de Gobierno Mauricio Macri a enfrentar su más grave crisis política desde que asumió en diciembre del 2007, las organizaciones que se reúnen en la Coordinadora de Lucha en la Ciudad: “La dignidad no se privatiza” marcharon hacia la Legislatura porteña y luego a la Jefatura de Gobierno, con las consignas que desde hace varios meses llevan adelante DISOLUCIÓN DE LA UCEP NO A LA METROPOLITANA NO AL AVANCE REPRESIVO POR MÁS PRESUPUESTO PARA SALUD, EDUCACIÓN Y VIVIENDA, DEROGACIÓN DEL CÓDIGO CONTRAVENCIONAL BASTA DE DESALOJOS, EMERGENCIA HABITACIONAL, DEROGACIÓN DEL DECRETO 574/09 (el cual termina con el Plan de Hoteles). También exigieron la renuncia del ministro de Ambiente y Espacio Público, Juan Pablo Piccardo, funcionario a cargo de la Unidad de Control del Espacio Público (UCEP), tras las nuevas denuncias de agresiones sufridas por personas en situación de calle por miembros de dicha fuerza parapolicial, y del ministro de Justicia y Seguridad, Guillermo Montenegro, fuertemente involucrado con el escándalo del espía James.
El próximo viernes 30 de octubre habrá una nueva jornada de lucha, con una marcha hacia Jefatura de Gobierno bajo las consignas:

La UCEP y La Metropolitana La Unidad de Control del Espacio Público (UCEP) nace a fines del año pasado como iniciativa del Jefe de Gobierno de la cuidad, Mauricio Macri, para legalizar la patota que ya desde la gestión anterior se encontraba operando en las calles porteñas. Afortunadamente gracias a los constantes repudios de la sociedad, este personaje tuvo que dejar su cargo, pero esto no significa que las políticas hayan cambiado, el proyecto sigue siendo el mismo.
